This place is basically a piece of Tonawanda history. It's been in business since the '60's. With over 50 years in business, you know they are doing something right. From the fresh products used, to the late night/early morning hours. It's definitely a good thing. The menu is extensive and reasonably priced. I highly recommend giving them a try.

Colosso Taco was a colossal disappointment to me. What do you do when you are hungry, in search of tacos, and drive by a place with taco in it's name? You stop there......for tacos. The place is pretty boring inside but a place like this doesn't need to be fancy, it just needs to provide good food. I placed my order for a chicken finger taco and a colosso taco expecting one very important thing, for them to be tacos. Now the menu here has a section for tacos and a section for burritos, which is where my problem comes in. I ordered tacos and was served 2 burritos, now, those are 2 different things, one is smaller and not completely wrapped like a burrito while the other is an actual burrito, so what do these guys consider a burrito if a taco is a burrito? That's a question I may never have the answer too. The tacos (burritos basically) were not great taste wise. I ordered the chicken mild and I'm not actually sure it had any sauce on it, while the colosso taco was a standard beef taco (burrito). I didn't hate the food, but I didn't love it either.
Overalll, I did not get the tacos I wanted so it looks like my hankering for them will continue. This place seems pretty solid for a small pizza/taco place and I'm sure it's a great place for a late night bite, however, I can't see myself returning for food in the future. -

I once made the mistake of walking into Colosso Taco and asking for a chicken "wrap." The cashier looked at me like I was bonkers. "We're a taco place." And so it goes. From that day forward CT became one of my fave slept-on taco spots of the Buffalo residential 'hoods. A little grimey (in style and personality, not hygiene) and hometown special, CT is home of The Colosso burrito and so much more. Their prices for side items like shoe string fries ($1.75? That's caviar on a PBR budget!) or O-rings are dirt cheap, man, and the food hot and plentiful; I always ask for extra cheese for any side item and boy do they give it to you! What's nice is that they also dont have a "one size fits all" policy for taco menu ordering; if you want a small instead of a large, just say so!

Place is a disgusting dump... filth everywhere the food is not edible for a dog. Place needs to be vaporized.....
UPDATE: this place is still a shithole with garbage food -

Little gem of Tonawanda. This place has been here forever and their open till like 4am. Back in my younger, drunker days, yes. I was here a lot.
Now, I go for the taco salad.
